Beginning of a beautiful journey is about to start. But it's been almost 2 years since Zero Ad Network started it's development. The idea, in various shapes and forms, was brewing in my mind since many years ago. I've always felt the monetization incentives of the web were off. It felt that there must be a better way to incentivize the creators but equality allow users to enjoy content that is truly well intentioned...

Two years ago and now​

And there I was, 2 years ago rambling about an idea that I had for so long to then my girlfriend (now my wife). She inspired me to pursuit this dream and make this work.

After some quick & dirty experiments using Google Chrome extension API and GPU PGP, I realized that it is indeed doable - to make an authoritative platform that can sign on behalf of it's users a special token, that can be seen by the backend web server and verified the data sent is actually valid.

With some on and off I've managed to create a stable enough platform and eco-system: the authoritative web platform, Chrome browser extension and the initial backend server module for Nodejs.

The result is everything that you see here under zeroad.network platform:
